I im really upset with the bad customer service and the way I was treated by an unprofessional employee name Jay at red roof in new york I previously stayed in a red roff hotel in columbus ohio and they were fabulous witch made me wannt to book another night in new york but u can't compare the bad service the show at new York location i even had to call the police because the employee got really aggressive and wanted me to live the hotel after he ready charge my card for one night i wont be staying at this chain any more im really upset and i had to go look for a different hotel

Red Roof Inn Room Review

Charged on debit card 69 bucks then get denied for the 100 dollar deposit and they never voided out the room charge. Charged on Saturday night and as of tuesday night bank still shows a purchase from red roof portland. I told the guy i only had 120 in my account. Theft if you ask me.

I would have given "Eric" a nice long lecture on basic customer service. Are some people that moronic to think that "Don't come back" is even a remotely acceptable response?

Sometimes just an apology is all people want, but then you have idiots like this that make it 50 times worse.

I hope you get a resolution for this incident. Keep us posted!

My wife and I were involved in an accident on I-40 in PA on 10 November 2015, on our way from NH to AZ. Our injuries were not life-threatening, so we continued our trip in a rental car as our vehicle was a total loss. We stayed in Red Roof Inns all across the country, and stayed at RRI #530 in Gallup, NM on 14 November 2015. We arrived road-weary at dusk, and when I asked for two bottles of water after checking in, I was told no, that I could only be given one bottle of water. Really? Two guests have to share a 10¢ bottle of water? I think your "free bottle of water" promotion has backfired. Instead of creating loyalty as an amenity, I feel silly asking for something so common (I've only been "offered" a bottle of water one time in many different RRIs, I either had to ask or didn't bother). I suggest you either train your people to offer it or set a couple cases out where they're accessible. If that's too much trouble or you find too much water disappearing, discontinue the offer.

Red Roof Inn Cleveland - Independence OH

Per my check out on November 27, 2015 around 9am - I had encountered a Red Roof Inn Employee " David" collaborating on phone with whom ever. Employee David had put his right hand up "like talk to my hand" that he was busy. What the *** !!!! I am a paying customer and employee treats his customer like ***!!!!!!!!, his actions were totally inappropriate. I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER again in my life time make a reservation at any Red Roof Inn, nor will I ever encourage any of my family, friends to stay at a Red Roof Inn. YES ! I became very angry and nasty to David, who in turn told me I WAS RUDE !!! Imagine that.. Red Roof Inn needs to do customer service inservice training with there employees, especially with David, who does not seem to know what quality customer service is all about. I feel this employee needs to be fired for his lack of customer service to a paying customer. Valerie Wilber

Im totally shocked, ive never experienced a bad night until this visit, well im homeless and has been at redroof for four days now with no *** heat, both my grandbabies are sick now, i notified the housekeeper and maintance came two days ago, and didnt fix the problem....told me hes behind and cant get to it now....im pissed and dont understand why i wasnt switched to another room, i should receive all four of my days for free, yeap give us a free room....this is ridiculous....my grandkids are 5 & 2, since we been here, they have runny noses, and fevers....something has got to be done!

We checked into the Red Roif Inn hotel in Somerset ky and when we arrived checked in quickly the young man at the desk (Jason) was very pleasent and had a great customer service attitude. When we arrived to the room we discovered ROACHES! We called the front desk and Jason instantly moved us into a new room. We checked out the next mornng and requested to speak to the manager. Viren that replied he is the manager and owner and informed us that we did not see any bugs and we assured him we did and turned from us mumbeled the F word and walked away from us. I witnessed the owner/manager cursing employees. Not a way for a owner to act! I would never stay threre again. I would sleep in my car first.

They have people living there sitting out in the hallways being loud all hours of the night this black woman's allows her many children to roam the halls I seen one child walk out of breakfast with enough food to feed a small army it's sad I'll never return to this hotel

In the past 2 months I stayed a full month at red roof inn Jacksonville fl on youngerman circle an then my 2nd stay was for 3 and both times were unbelievably bad.The managers were the rudest I have ever encountered.During my first stay the manager was an Arabic man an aside from the terrible attitude he would not honor the weekly rate price even tho it was his employee who stated there was no weekly rate.he would not switch us rooms but the room phone was broke,toilet was leaking all over the bathroom floor ,sink was stopped up an had all sorts of nasty things floating in it an ice machines were broken.he claimed to be full an didn't even offer to make it right in any way.The 2nd stay the room was ok but the new manager whom would not identify herself to me by full name,she gave me the initials t.l. a African American mid 30s female. Not only did she stoop to the level of arguing back an fourth she said some very inappropriate things along with foul language.All because we were extending our stay but it was 15 mins after check out.but mind you we are frequent guest and have been for years at this location.we have been satisfied up until these past 2 stays.The current management is so horrible I do not plan on visiting this location again due to them

Business Trip

I called in to make my reservation at the Red Roof BWI property. I specifically asked for the 1st floor. I was told "no problem". I arrived at 2:00 pm to be told that none of the rooms are ready yet as we watched the cleaning girls chit chatting in the office area. They said to come back at 3:00 pm. I returned at 4:00 pm. They gave me my 3rd floor room key. I said that I specifically asked for the 1st floor. They told me that nothing was available. I told the girl behind the counter that I was told when I called in that it would be no problem. She was very rude and said again nothing is available. I told her what I was told when I called in my reservation. Once I got settled into my room, my husband walked around and found 14 empty 1st floor rooms....but you know, nothing is available. I stay at this property probably 8-10 times a year. I have been a Red Roof Redi Card member for quite a while but now I am considering NEVER staying at a Red Roof again.

*** in room. Showers didn't work. Switched room twice and then was told could not go back and look for shoes left in one of the rooms. Unbelievable! We will see how social media impacts them. I will wait to see what happens. They told me nothing could be done at that time and had to wait for Monday to arrive and speak with a Manager. I'm in process of contacting managers, manager and then will keep on moving up the chain. Then will contact the Health Department. Unfortunately this has to be so many works. ***, bm and *** Unclean!!!

Been travelling to and from ohio for 29 years. Have stayed in red roof inn over 50 times. Not necessarily a great place, but, at least we can lay our head down over night. Not only were we over charged five times more than always, bit we were shocked at the less than satisfactory accomodations. Doesnt even deserve a number.

We stayed at red roof inn gateway in savannah georgia. We picked this hotel because it was pet friendly. Whole hotel smelled really bad. The room was not clean. I could scrape dirt off bathtub with my fingernails. Bathroom corners were dirty. Sheet did not fit properly and had to keep putting them back on. Whole room dingy, smelly, and old looking. No coffee left the second day and old coffee left in pot. Will not be back!
