Stayed 9 days At the Newark hotel. DE wine keys when work late evening and went to office for support waited a long while no one was in office.
The next morning my wife walked out of our Room and was offered crack by the occupants of the Room next to us. Numerous people during the 9 day stay were on the balcony during the day during the night smoking marijuana out in the open. For a non smoking facility there were burn holes in blood gets on both bed. There is only a partial roll of toilet paper when we arrived in Room.
There were no extra rolls and no one replaced any. We ended I buying our own pack of toilet paper and had to take or tells elsewhere to be laundered as no clean towels or linen were offered to us. Housekeeping was never available to clean the Room. Emptying of trash was left to us.
After the 2nd day the elevator stopped working. We were on the 3rd floor with my wife who recently survived cancer and has issues with Legs. We came to Delaware for a death of a loved 1. And our stay at this facility was a horrible experience.
For the amount of money we paid for 9 days we definitely expected more. We are not people that expect to be waited on but the simple necessities as in clean tells toilet paper and trash removal should be expected as well as a drug free environment. I did not feel with safe for my wife to leave the Room. There was a constant odor of marijuana smoke in our hotel Room due to the air conditioning and other occupants standing there smoking marijuana.
On the 2nd day there must have been a raid of some sort as the entire building was surrounded by police officers. To say this was a bed experience is an understatement.

I've been at the Red Roof Inn for more than 3 months In Rockford Illinois never had one complaint until the manager made a mistake and gave a key to my room too an individual that I did not know I told her about it she looked at me like she was upset at me like it was my fault and she did not do anything about it nor did she take my advice on being careful and just ask for an id reason in saying I was being retaliated against is because about a year ago the same manager Nicole did not accommodate me nor did she try to even help the situation of roaches bringing in the room so I called corporate and corporate called her corporate, which at that point she got in trouble for not doing her job

Your hotel sucks
I booked this hotel for Tuesday- Sunday. The ac barely works!
After a couple days of nightless sleep I called the front desk about 7am to be told ok maintenance comes in a couple hours at 9. I told her I pay to stay here that is not an acceptable answer and asked for the manager and of course I was told there was no manager for the day. 9am came and I still was hot 10am came still the same then 11:15 I start calling the front desk back to back never got an answer then the maintenance just appears at the door.
He comes in I explain the issue says he will return that was a half hour ago I called downstairs again no answer so I went downstairs maintenance is down there and all the other staff still to be told there is no manager and nothing they can or will do about it because all rooms are sold out. But yall already took my money!

Apparently, either the owner or management of that particular inn has a problem with muslims. Since they own the business, they can do as they like.There are many other inns in Kalamazoo area.
That's just the way it is. Why stay somewhere where you are not welcome. I actually had the same situation from, oddly-enough France in the early 70s.
The old French ladies running the hotel in downtown Blois thought I was German and made it known they didn't want my business. Probably memories of the "Bosch" during the war.
