They listened carefully to my issue and then did nothing to help. Very dissatisfied.

Wouldn't even provide the name of the manager of the hotel. Would definitely not recommend Red Roof Inn or its affiliates in the future.

I stayed at the Red Roof Plus inn in Mount Pleasant, SC Patriots Point.
The hotel is older but they renovated it about 5-10 years ago. The rooms are good.
However the customer service needs improvement.

A guy I dealt with was terrible - repeatedly. Dennis - big guy with reddish hair and glasses.
He seemed miserable and kept complaining. He was ready to argue constantly. Made no sense.
How hard can that job be?

Seems a moron can do it.

Looking by who they hired, that is also happening.
Get a new guy at the front desk. Then we would come back.

I OVERALL love redroof. The place is great roomy convenient location reasonably priced for the service. Although no clean towels provided EVER! Or TP EVER. If ur extended stay guest. No working rm phones. No coffee in lobby EVER even tho website n advertising says so

My first stay and very disappointed. Our room was dirty upon arrival. We were there 15 days. During that time housekeeping NEVER came once. I had to ask for clean towels, sheets and toilet paper. I bought my own Swiffer Dry and Wet cloths to keep floor cleaner. We killed 6 huge spiders in bathroom. The toilet seat wasn't attached. The pool was closed the entire time. The "Continental Breakfast" was usually gone by 8am and only offered a few boiled and badly peeled eggs, wheat toast and some sort of cereal. We were not given the handicap accessible room and so my husband went two weeks with no shower.
The manager than 10 days after our check in decided to charge my card another $514 for a security deposit. Even though I had already paid for the room!
We asked for our money back and would have accepted half back but was instead offered a Free One Night Stay. I paid $1200 and had to clean my own hotel room!
As far as I am concerned, Red Roof Inn will not get my money again It was horrible! Not special, not romantic. Just.... horrible. I will never stay there again!

Terrible they said they were going to let me know what happened with my issue and I haven't heard anything back yet. I found a freaking gun under my blankets when I checked into my room. That tells me that nobody cleaned at all and nothing was done about it. And because I said something now I'm getting treated like crap and I have it all recorded every bit of it
